Nicholas F. Galluccio
President & Chief Executive Officer
Portfolio Manager of the GAMCO Westwood SmallCap Equity Fund, Mr. Galluccio, joined Teton Advisors, Inc. in 2008, after a 25 year career at Trust Company of the West (TCW) where he was Group Managing Director, U.S. Equities and led the investment team for the TCW SmallCap Value Added and TCW MidCap Value Opportunities equity strategies. He was senior portfolio manager and co-managed both strategies since their inception. Prior to TCW, he was with Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb where he was a security analyst specializing in the semiconductor industry. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Galluccio was a staff writer for Forbes magazine. Mr. Galluccio holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and an M.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from the University of Hartford. He serves on the Board of Regents at the University of Hartford, and also serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Columbia Business School Program for Financial Studies.
James E. Brady
Executive Vice President, Director of Marketing
In the seven years prior to joining Teton Advisors, Inc. in 2008, Mr. Brady was Senior Vice President at Trust Company of the West (TCW) where he developed mutual fund and sub-advisory selling relationships and marketed TCW’s broad array of investment strategies to plan sponsors and consultants. Prior to TCW, Mr. Brady was a Senior Vice President of institutional marketing at Founders Asset Management where he handled key accounts. Prior to Founders, Mr. Brady was Senior Vice President at Regent Investor Services. He was a founding corporate officer at AAL Capital Management where he marketed mutual funds to retail and institutional clients. Mr. Brady holds an M.B.A. from Iona College and a B.A. from Providence College. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
Mario J. Gabelli, CFA
Portfolio Manager for the GAMCO Westwood Mighty MitesSM Fund
Mario J. Gabelli, CFA is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Value Products for GAMCO Investors, Inc., which he founded in 1977. Mr. Gabelli is a summa cum laude graduate of Fordham University and holds an MBA degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island.
Laura S. Linehan, CFA
Portfolio Manager for the GAMCO Westwood Mighty MitesSM Fund
Laura Linehan joined the firm in 1995 as a research analyst responsible for the broadcasting and publishing industries. In 1998 Laura became Co-Portfolio Manager for GAMCO Westwood Mighty MitesSM Fund. Laura began her investment career with Smith Barney’s Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking Group. Laura is a graduate of Lehigh University with a BA in Biology. She also received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and received her CFA designation in 1998.
Walter K. Walsh
Portfolio Manager for the GAMCO Westwood Mighty MitesSM Fund
Portfolio Manager for the GAMCO Westwood Mighty MitesSM Fund since its inception in 1998, Mr. Walsh joined GAMCO Investors in 1994 as compliance officer. Prior to joining GAMCO, Mr. Walsh held a number of positions with the New York Regional Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. For more than thirty years, he has identified, analyzed and invested in special situation micro capitalization companies. Mr. Walsh has served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Finance at New York University. Mr. Walsh holds an M.B.A. degree in Finance from Baruch College of the City University of New York and a B.A. from City College.
Barbara G. Marcin, CFA
Portfolio Manager for the GAMCO Westwood Income Fund
Barbara Marcin, CFA, joined GAMCO Investors, Inc. in June, 1999 to manage the Gabelli Blue Chip Value Fund. Prior to joining the Gabelli organization, Ms. Marcin was head of value investments at Citibank Global Asset Management, managing mid- and large-cap equities in value-style mutual funds and separate accounts. She was responsible for stock selection and portfolio construction. Ms. Marcin, a Chartered Financial Analyst, received an MBA from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business in 1986. She completed her undergraduate studies in 1979 at the University of Virginia where she graduated with Distinction as an Echols’ Scholar.
Scott R. Butler
Senior Vice President, Analyst for the GAMCO Westwood SmallCap Equity Fund
Mr. Butler joined Teton Advisors with eight years combined investment experience at Intrepid Capital Management and Trust Company of the West (TCW). While at Intrepid, Mr. Butler covered the video game and software industries. At TCW, he worked alongside Mr. Galluccio on the small and mid cap portfolio management teams as a special situations generalist with a focus on software, industrial and medical technology sectors. Mr. Butler holds a B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and a B.S. from Columbia University.
Tiffany R. Hayden
Vice President
Ms. Hayden joined Teton Advisors, Inc. in 2008 from Trust Company of the West (TCW) where she spent three years as a liaison with research and marketing for the Value Added/Value Opportunities investment team. At Teton Advisors, she serves as research analyst and marketing liaison with mutual fund intermediaries. Prior to TCW, she worked for Econ One in Austin, Texas on an economic research project focused on actuarial modeling. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
